We have developed an implementation and training methodology that allows for rapid deployment with minimal disruption while efficiently utilizing the time of a customer's staff.

In implementing a customer's system, we start at the sales process which is when a successful implementation truly begins. Our success also relies on the following factors:

  • Planning to be successful.
  • Free web-based pre-implementation training, through self-paced learning guides and highly efficient computer based interactive training modules (CBTs).
  • Customer involvement and sign-off of the planning for each step.
  • Having the right project leadership team, which includes representatives from the customer.
  • Managing and understanding customer's expectations.
  • Clearly defined project objectives.
  • Early and well thought out strategic planning for both EMR and PMS.
  • Open communication.
  • In depth workflow analysis prior to implementation.
  • Devoting sufficient time for training based on individual needs.
  • Creating detailed and measurable goals.
  • Ability to "go-live" early during the implementation (Day 3 or 4).
  • Identifying "Product Champions" within the customer's clinic staff.
  • Ongoing quality management and continuous support.
  • Free help desk support until our trainers return in 90 days to do the final follow-up training.

If you choose, we can also employ a "train the trainer" approach, so you can manage the process (and control the costs) of implementing the system in a large site or for multiple sites.

Once the initial implementation of your system is complete, your MedcomSoft Implementation Specialist is available to work with you to review processes and create additional forms and protocols to ensure that you maximize the benefits derived from your MedcomSoft Record installation.
