| MedcomSoft's interim CEO, is a senior investment banker with more than 20 years and $3 billion in corporate finance transaction experience. He has served as Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Corporate Finance for RBC Capital Markets (Royal Bank Of Canada), Managing Director Healthcare Corporate Finance for First Union Securities, and Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Corporate Finance at Wheat First Securities. Rob's experience includes public and private equity and debt and merger and acquisition transactions for a wide range of companies in the biotechnology, medical technology and healthcare service industries. In addition, Rob managed the national healthcare venture capital relationships at all of his prior firms. Rob is currently a Senior Project Director at the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC). Rob received his BS degree from Vanderbilt University and MBA from University of Virginia Darden School of Business. |
Nick Clemenzi | MedcomSoft's Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, is a financial professional with over 15 years of experience in management positions. Prior to joining MedcomSoft in November 2000, Mr. Clemenzi held various controllership positions at Toromont Industries Ltd., a TSE listed company, and formerly held the position of Audit Manager with Deloitte & Touche, Chartered Accountants. During his career, Mr. Clemenzi has developed management information systems, ISO 9001 quality assurance programs and cost reduction initiatives, has negotiated long-term contracts and business acquisitions, and has managed all aspects of financial and management reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting. He has also provided audit and business advisory services to large public and private multinational and North American companies. Nick Clemenzi is a Chartered Accountant with a Business Degree from York University in Toronto, Canada. |
Brett Quance | Vice President of Sales, has more than 12 years experience in the technology industry in the areas of hardware, networking, and software for both Canadian and US based companies. He has held various sales, business development and management roles. Mr. Quance most recently was a lead consultant for The Malahat Consulting Group, a consulting firm specializing in Channel Sales development. Prior to this, Mr. Quance was the Vice President of Business Development for BlueCat Networks, a start-up network appliance and software company based in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Previous roles have also included Channel Sales Manager, NetCurrents, Inc., a U.S. based Internet monitoring software company and Business Development Manager, Channels and later Alliances Manager for Data General, Canada a Division of EMC. |
Mary Torrance | Vice President, Implementation and Training, has been with MedcomSoft since April, 2000, having held positions in sales management, business development, and as manager of clinical services. She is responsible for ensuring client proficiency - and therefore success - with MedcomSoft Record. A registered nurse specializing in post-surgical pediatric care, Ms. Torrance also has extensive experience in healthcare-related education, training, marketing and communications. She recruits, manages, and leads MedcomSoft's training team, as well as playing a principal role in developing training protocols, customizing the implementation process to best fit a particular practice's workflow, and optimizing the ongoing use of MedcomSoft Record for a practice's staff. Prior to joining MedcomSoft, Ms. Torrance worked in a variety of healthcare settings -most recently for Beverly Health Care in Atlanta, Georgia. |
Jamil Adi  | Vice President, Business Development, has nearly a decade of business development and technology industry experience. Mr. Adi is responsible for developing new market initiatives and large-scale marketing and sales opportunities for MedcomSoft, a role he also played as President of Clinical Transformation Management (CTM), a healthcare technology consultancy and former channel partner for MedcomSoft. Mr. Adi founded CTM after working as a consultant in healthcare, where he consistently tackled problems related to the documentation and exchange of information. Mr. Adi also brings a wide range of entrepreneurial experience, in the US and abroad, to MedcomSoft. Mr. Adi holds a Master's Degree in Healthcare Technology Management and a BS in Biomedical Engineering. |
Marcia Newell | Joined MedcomSoft's Team as Manager of Human Resources and Administration, and Corporate Secretary in March 2005. With more than 18 years in Human Resources and Administration Management, Ms. Newell's career includes various start-up and development stage company experiences, including Dell Computer Corporation, Advantex, AMCS, MedcomSoft, and most recently WaveRider Communications. She maintains a Canadian Human Resources Professional designation (C.H.R.P.), has an honours degree in Economics and English from York University, and a Canadian Human Resources Management certification from Centennial College. |
