MedcomSoft Record includes a rich content of Patient Education materials. Using cutting edge technology, information is accessed through a portal in MedcomSoft Record. It offers not only patient education handouts, but patient education videos as well. 
Included in the portal are over 365 patient and consumer health education videos (some in 8 languages), 1390 text handouts, and 320 peer-reviewed health websites. The user interface is localized in 8 languages to further meet the needs of diverse patient populations. Videos may be seen in the waiting room or in an exam room before a visit with the doctor. For further follow-up, links to videos may be emailed to the patient along with handouts and a list of recommended websites so that patients may view this information at home as well. This helpful technology may allow patients to answer their own questions using such resources instead of using the clinician’s time.
