MedcomSoft Patient Portal

MedcomSoft has integrated Kryptiq's CareCatalyst and ClinicalMessenger with MedcomSoft Record. MedcomSoft users will now have the ability to provide online patient services through a secure patient portal. Additionally, they will be able to share patient records electronically from within the EMR to streamline communications outside the practice and eliminate costs associated with sending documents via fax or traditional mail.

Key Features of the MedcomSoft Patient Portal

  • Ability to send individual or mass emails to patients through secure encrypted messaging.
  • Ability to automatically post current medications to patient portal.
  • Ability to automatically post current medical record to patient portal.
  • Ability to customize data which patient can access through patient portal.
  • Ability to allow delegates to access secure message center.
  • Ability to initiate medication renewals automatically from patient prescription renewal requests received through patient portal.
  • Ability to receive patient demographic updates through patient portal.
  • Ability to receive and initiate patient appointment requests automatically through patient portal.
  • Ability of physician to access patient medical record directly upon receipt of secure message from patient.

The MedcomSoft Patient Portal will dramatically simplify practice workflows and allow our users to work with fully codified patient information from the moment the patient first interacts with their practice. Electronic referrals using secure messaging integrated with the EMR have been shown to save $10.37 per referral in place of fax-based communications, according to a study conducted by two clinics using the clinical messaging.
