Your EMR system is a mission critical application. Choosing the appropriate equipment is important. Here are the recommended requirements that will support the various configurations:

Server Requirements

• Intel P4 2.4 GHz Processor or better
• 4 GB RAM
• 200 GB Disk Space (Raid 1 or 5)
• Network Communications (TCP/IP)
• Backup device and software
• UPS
• Microsoft Windows 2003 or 2008 Server (32 or 64 Bit)
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008, or 2008 R2
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2007, or 2010
• .NET Framework 4

Thin Client – Terminal Server

• Dual Intel P4 2.4 GHz Processor
• Minimum 4 GB RAM (Depending on concurrent users. Check with us for memory requirements)
• Microsoft Windows 2003 or 2008 Server (32 or 64 Bit)
• Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007, including Microsoft Outlook
• Network communications (TCP/IP)
• UPS
• Client workstations must support 1024 X 768 display or better
• Clients workstations must support RDP connection to the Terminal Server
• .NET Framework 4

Thick Client

• Intel P4 2.4 GHz Processor or better
• 2 GB RAM
• 5 GB Disk Space
• 10/100 Network (TCP/IP)
• Video resolution of 1024 X 768 minimum
• Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, and 7 including Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate (32 Bit) editions
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 6+
• Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 or 2010 Professional Edition / Ultimate Edition including Microsoft Outlook
• .NET Framework 4
