MedcomSoft has created an EMR that specifically focuses on treating Allergy patients through the use of growth charts, immunization schedules and alerts along with flowsheets to increase quality of patient care.

Inside a patients chart, demographics, insurance information, and clinical encounters are documented and ready to be viewed by the physician within seconds. Parent or guardian information is noted within the patient’s chart and can be updated at any point. Insurance eligibility verification is incorporated into the MedcomSoft billing module and is validated accordingly.

The physician can electronically order tests and labs and receive these results right into MedcomSoft. This increases efficiency, cuts costs and helps maintain continuity of care. The physician is also able to document allergen immunotherapy.

MedcomSoft Record also has the ability to provide the patients parents or guardian with educational information. Return-to-School notes maybe be printed or faxed directly to the school. Referrals and authorizations are managed automatically within MedcomSoft. There are forms available for the documentation of the diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immunologic diseases and asthma.
